Dropping out of education is one of the most prevalent phenomena in recent years in Yemen, where figures indicate that there are more than two million children out of their schools, and many of these children leave their schools in search of work to support their families, or for the lack of an appropriate educational environment, especially in the camps of the displaced. It leads to an increase in illiteracy rates, ignorance, and unemployment, and the emergence of bad phenomena in society such as child labor, and other negative phenomena. In view of the importance of education in addressing many societal ills, Al-Rowad for Development implemented some educational projects, such as the training and empowerment project, distributing school bags and monthly guarantees for university students, which had a significant impact on the continuation of the educational process for the children of poor families and the poorest.
